Inspections

Rigorous Review

On site inspections include a tour of the building and grounds reviewing patients’ records, checking policies and procedures, and interviewing patients, staff, and managers. Preliminary findings are immediately presented in a verbal report to the governing board and managers. A thorough written report identifies improved practices, areas of excellence, as well as identifying deficiencies, and making recommendations with a schedule for corrective actions. Regular inspections take place every 3 years. When necessary, interim inspections are conducted.
