Christian Science Nursing

Patients in Christian Science nursing facilities have chosen to rely on prayer for healing while receiving practical, physical care from Christian Science nurses, without the use of medicine, medical techniques, therapy, or procedures. The same is true of those who use visiting Christian Science nursing services in their homes.

Patients are students of the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and receive prayerful treatment from Christian Science practitioners. Christian Science nursing includes such activities as bathing, cleansing and bandaging wounds, assistance with mobility, and nourishment.
